The plot, once you have time to think about it, should so obviously never have been cleared for takeoff.. It's a tense, concise and elegantly shot film that creates a sense of menace from the very beginning - - and in a way that's unusual.. There's so little reason behind the plot that it's hard to focus on Foster's fierce performance.. A more than decent thriller.. Just another thriller with too much plot.. .
