The film conceals as much as it reveals, and its beauty is that it pretends to do nothing else. It embraces a mystery and protects it, and it’s thrilling to behold.. Sinister 2 comes up a bit short on creative resources, although director Ciaran Foy probably gets enough right to entice those partial to the original.. Absolutely one of the greatest, most cringe-worthy movies I've ever seen.. A serviceable if somewhat redundant horror sequel that dribbles out its secrets slowly, "Sinister 2" does...
